The Magdanomicon - Magda CEDH Primer by user6030681

Format: Commander

Commander: Magda, Brazen Outlaw

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Magda, Brazen Outlaw is a mono-red Dwarf-treasure toolbox that converts creature taps into live tutors. The primary plan is to generate five Treasures, then have Magda fetch Maskwood Nexus; once Maskwood is on the battlefield every creature card in the library is a Dragon, so subsequent Magda activations can put Roaming Throne, Knuckles the Echidna, Xorn, or Portal to Phyrexia directly into play. Roaming Throne acts as the hidden multiplier, doubling Magda and Knuckles triggers. The deck has a fallback combat/token plan, but the real win condition is Knuckles' 30-artifact upkeep trigger, backed by Portal to Phyrexia as control and recursion. It is fast but linear and heavily commander-dependent.
