(Krenko) The Godfather by user2582817

Format: Commander

Commander: Krenko, Mob Boss

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a blisteringly fast Mono-Red Goblin tribal swarm deck, helmed by the iconic Krenko, Mob Boss. The primary game plan is to flood the battlefield with low-cost Goblins, use Krenko's activated ability to multiply the horde exponentially, and then convert that token mass into a win through one of several overlapping kill channels. The deck leverages direct-damage payoffs like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors to drain the table, sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment to turn each Goblin into removal or reach, and an infinite-combat loop via Aggravated Assault plus sufficient mana from Skirk Prospector to close out in a single turn. The commander is the lynchpin: nearly every potent line requires Krenko on the battlefield to generate the critical mass of tokens needed to overwhelm opponents. The deck is aggressive, redundant in its core roles, and capable of explosive turns, but it is very light on stack interaction and vulnerable to board wipes.
