Proxy Kaervek The Merciless by jamikoXseajay

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaervek the Merciless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kaervek the Merciless leads a spell-punishment deck that taxes every opposing cast with direct damage. The primary plan is to establish pingers and goblin token generation, then amplify all damage with Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Gratuitous Violence until Kaervek's triggers plus burn spells clear the table. Krenko, Mob Boss acts as a hidden commander, providing a swarm that fuels combat and Volley Veteran/Basalt Ravager; General Kreat and Guttersnipe add incidental pings. The deck has no double-faced commander-Kaervek is the only command-zone general, and the list is built around his ability. Its reach is strong once a doubler lands, but the mana base is thin and the win depends on multiple engines surviving.
