Dina Lifegain/Deathtouch by Ghaal

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Soul Steeper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari lifegain/drain deck helmed by Dina, Soul Steeper, built around the classic Exquisite Blood loop. The primary game plan is to deploy Dina early, assemble a two-card combo (Exquisite Blood/Bloodthirsty Conqueror + Dina or Enduring Tenacity) that turns any lifegain trigger into an infinite life-drain chain, eliminating all opponents in a single turn cycle. The deck supports this with a dense suite of lifegain enablers (lifelink creatures, ETB lifegain, death triggers) and value recursion pieces (Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Moseo, Vein's New Dean) that grind out incremental advantage. Secondary win conditions include Syr Konrad, the Grim and Gray Merchant of Asphodel for big drain, and the combat damage from lifelink creatures. The deck plays a midrange-combo shell, with tutors to find the combo pieces and removal to clear the path.
