Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord leads a Grixis Army deck that wins by growing one large Orc Army. Opponents casting spells and a dense amass package (Nazgul, Warg Rider, Corsairs of Umbar, Saruman) stack counters on that Army, while Gleaming Overseer and Brotherhood Regalia give it hexproof, menace and unblockable. Sauron rewards combat damage with Ring tempts that refill your hand (discard then draw four) and provides ward. Secondary paths convert the Army into direct damage via All Will Be One, Terror of the Peaks, and Chandra's Ignition, or assemble the Peer into the Abyss + Orcish Bowmasters + Sheoldred, the Apocalypse draw-punish loop. Sheoldred acts as a hidden commander, turning every draw into life loss.
