Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored commands a resilient Naya Dinosaur stompy deck centered on rapid mana acceleration, overwhelming board presence, and the discover mechanic. The strategy accelerates on turns 1 and 2 with efficient land ramp and cost-reducing creatures before resolving Pantlaza on turn 4. Pantlaza immediately triggers discover 4 to cheat additional permanents onto the battlefield. On turn 5, the deck transitions into its critical onset phase by deploying massive Dinosaurs such as Gishath, Sun's Avatar, Ghalta and Mavren, or Quartzwood Crasher. These threats trigger higher-value discover cascades and attack with trample and haste. High-stat creatures generate continuous card draw through enchantments like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising. The deck closes the game around turn 7 using wide combat damage buffed by Akroma's Will or Return of the Wildspeaker. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and stack-based combo decks due to limited countermagic, Pantlaza's immediate enter-the-battlefield triggers provide excellent card flow and rapid recovery.
