Deck overview

This deck is a political Simic token and creature-type manipulation strategy commanded by Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist. It leverages symmetrical card draw and resource acceleration (Font of Mythos, Heartbeat of Spring, Rites of Flourishing) to accelerate the game while continually generating 4/3 Salamander Warrior tokens for players with the fewest creatures. Because Gor Muldrak grants you and all your permanents protection from Salamanders, opposing players are forced to direct their newly acquired tokens at each other, leaving you completely shielded from Salamander combat damage and abilities. Once sufficient tokens populate the board, the deck breaks parity using creature-type manipulation (Standardize, Unnatural Selection, Amoeboid Changeling), mass board pumps (Coat of Arms, Biomass Mutation), or mass clone effects (Echoing Equation) to swing for unblockable lethal damage.
