Deck overview

Felothar, Dawn of the Abzan leads a midrange value deck built around +1/+1 counters, token generation, and sacrifice synergies. The primary game plan deploys the commander early to spread counters across the board via its sacrifice trigger, then leverages counter doublers like Byrke, Long Ear of the Law and Seismic Tutelage to grow a lethal army. Mirkwood Bats and Venerated Stormsinger provide reach through life drain, while robust recursion (Puca's Covenant, Uncle's Musings) keeps the engine running after wipes. The deck wins through combat damage with trample enablers (Emil, Vastlands Roamer) or incremental death triggers, lacking infinite combos and instead grinding out opponents over multiple turns.
