Pin the Tail on the Donkey by legobumb

Format: Commander

Commander: Etrata, the Silencer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic, Dimir assassin strategy helmed by Etrata, the Silencer. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging Etrata's unique alternate win condition: exiling opponents' creatures with hit counters until they lose the game. Because Etrata naturally shuffles herself into the library after dealing combat damage, the deck is heavily engineered to bypass this drawback. It utilizes a massive suite of instant-speed bounce, blink, and phasing spells to remove Etrata from the battlefield in response to her trigger, allowing the hit counter to resolve while she returns to hand or phases out instead of shuffling. Additionally, the deck runs a high density of non-legendary clone effects to multiply Etrata's triggers and accelerate the clock. The ultimate goal is to eliminate a single player with Etrata's triggers while Ramses, Assassin Lord is on the battlefield, instantly winning the entire game.
