Deck overview

This deck leverages Indominus Rex, Alpha to convert keyword-dense creatures into an immediate threat and massive card draw engine. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and land ramp accelerate mana production to cast the commander on Turn 4. Upon entering the battlefield, the commander consumes creature cards from hand, acquiring crucial keywords like hexproof, indestructible, haste, and trample while refilling the hand with 4 to 7 cards. This discard simultaneously stocks the graveyard for efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Living Death. The deck closes games across Turns 5 to 7 by applying overwhelming combat pressure with giant, protected creatures augmented by overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Pathbreaker Ibex. Solid free interaction and graveyard resilience ensure the deck recovers quickly from interaction.
