Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Helga, Skittish Seer to convert creature spells with mana value 4 or greater into card draw, life gain, and explosive mana ramp. The early game focuses on deploying 2-CMC ramp on Turn 2 and casting Helga on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, casting 4-drop creatures triggers Helga, growing her power and drawing fresh resources. By Turn 5, Helga taps for substantial mana to chain multiple large creatures, counter multipliers, and anthems like Defiler of Vigor and Cathars' Crusade. The deck finishes the game on Turn 6 to 7 by granting combat evasion through Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, and Surrak and Goreclaw, or by executing an infinite creature loop with Cathars' Crusade and Herd Baloth. While highly resilient in value generation, the deck is vulnerable to board sweepers and lacks proactive stax.
