Deck overview

This mono-blue deck is led by Sai, Master Thopterist and focuses on swarming the battlefield with 1/1 flying Thopter tokens through artifact casts. It leverages cost reducers, mana rocks, and affinity spells to establish a fast mana engine by Turn 4. The deck draws substantial cards through Vedalken Archmage, Shimmer Dragon, and Sai's sacrifice ability, rapidly digging into high-impact finishers. Between Turns 6 and 8, it converts its wide token board into lethal combat damage using massive power multipliers like Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, Forsaken Monument, and Master of Etherium, or through scaling unblockable beaters such as Kappa Cannoneer and Broodstar. While the deck features strong card flow and resilient token generation, it relies primarily on combat damage across multiple attack steps, making it susceptible to well-timed artifact and creature board wipes.
