New Untitled Deck by Umarth21

Format: Commander

Commander: Braids, Arisen Nightmare

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Braids, Arisen Nightmare leads a mono-black value-sacrifice deck. The primary plan is to sacrifice a token or redundant permanent each end step, turning Braids into a three-card draw engine and a slow life-drain clock. The deck chokes boards with Archfiend of Depravity, Pestilence, and No Mercy, while recurring threats via Bloodghast, Reanimate, and Black Sun's Twilight. Secondary paths are aristocrat drain from Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat and a mass life-loss finish from the adventurous Exsanguinate, often doubled by Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal acts as the closest thing to a hidden commander: an additional draw/discard engine with a land side. There is no true alternate commander.
