Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The plan focuses on deploying efficient, high-power creatures such as Rhonas the Indomitable, Hulking Raptor, and Fanatic of Rhonas on the opening turns. Once battlefield power reaches ten or more, Ghalta, Primal Hunger enters for only two green mana on Turn 4. Having a 12/12 trampler on board supercharges the deck's resource engines, converting power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Life's Legacy, and Last March of the Ents into massive card bursts while enabling Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and Traverse the Outlands to generate huge mana reserves. To finish the table, the deck uses lethal combat multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Finale of Devastation to eliminate all three opponents across Turns 5 and 6, backed by efficient protection spells.
