Deck overview

This deck leverages Olag and Miau, New Friends to weave together Cat and Zombie tribal synergies into a potent token aggro and life-drain engine. The strategy focuses on curving out with early ramp into the commander, followed by rapid token generation from cards like Arahbo, the First Fang, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Leonin Warleader. Because Cats distribute +1/+1 counters to Zombies and vice versa, every new body magnifies the board's offensive footprint. At the same time, the commander and Throne of the God-Pharaoh turn tapped attackers into guaranteed table-wide life loss during each end step. If games stall, the deck transitions into explosive overrun finishes using Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will, or executes an infinite sacrifice loop via Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar. Robust protection spells and recursion like Eerie Ultimatum ensure the engine remains resilient against opposing interaction.
