Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dragon Tribal battlecruiser strategy helmed by The Ur-Dragon. The deck takes full advantage of its commander's Eminence ability, reducing the cost of all Dragon spells by one generic mana from the very start of the game. Early turns focus on establishing a reliable five-color mana base through land ramp, mana rocks, and specialized cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman. In the mid-game, the deck transitions into a lethal engine by deploying synergistic threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Temur Ascendancy, and Terror of the Peaks, which translate every new creature into card draw, direct damage, and immediate haste. Once established, massive aerial beaters like Atarka, World Render and The Ur-Dragon deal overwhelming combat damage that closes out the game across one or two combat steps. While vulnerable to early combo decks and heavy creature wipes, its raw redundancy, card velocity, and asymmetric sweepers provide strong late-game inevitability.
