Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Izzet spellslinger and storm deck led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an escalating burn engine and a potent mana battery: every noncreature spell adds a +1/+1 counter, deals 1 damage to each opponent, and expands the mana pool Vivi can produce each turn with its {0} activation. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost cost reducers and casting Vivi on Turn 3. On Turn 4 and 5, the deck accelerates by stacking damage modifiers such as Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Artist's Talent, and Coruscation Mage. Once assembled, a flurry of low-cost instants, sorceries, and rituals generates massive bursts of table-wide damage, frequently closing out the game on Turn 6 with storm finishers like Grapeshot, Comet Storm, or Underworld Breach recursion. Strong cheap protection spells ensure that Vivi remains on the board during critical storm turns.
