Deck overview

This is a Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator + Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar Izzet Pirate-tribal deck built around the classic Treasure-pinger engine. Malcolm creates a Treasure for each opponent his Pirates damage, and Kediss spreads commander combat damage to every opponent, so a single Malcolm attack yields three Treasures. The artifact-pinger creatures - Ingenious Artillerist, Reckless Fireweaver, Weftstalker Ardent, Sabotender, Sunshot Militia, and Shao Jun - convert each Treasure into 1 damage to each opponent, turning every combat into a miniature burn spell. Changeling support (Maskwood Nexus, Leyline of Transformation, Standardize, Universal Automaton) guarantees Malcolm's trigger fires on any attacker. The deck wins through accumulated pinger damage, Kediss-spread commander damage, and direct burn, with artifact recursion (Trash for Treasure, Scour for Scrap, Buried Ruin) re-triggering the pingers.
