Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jund Discard and Delirium Stax strategy commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The primary game plan accelerates early mana to achieve Delirium across diverse card types (creatures, artifacts, enchantments, battles, planeswalkers, lands, instants, and sorceries). Once Winter is deployed, opponents face an oppressive hand size restriction (reducing maximum hand sizes to 1-3 cards) while being forced to draw extra cards on Winter's upkeep. The deck capitalizes on this dynamic with punishing group slug engines such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, Underworld Dreams, Liliana's Caress, and Megrim. Synergies like Waste Not and Chains of Mephistopheles convert opponent card flow into massive resource generation and hand locks. Symmetrical wheel effects and continuous discard from Sire of Insanity completely derail opposing strategies, closing out the table under suffocating attrition and rapid passive damage by Turn 7.
