Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost mana engines such as Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Crime Novelist to convert cheap instant and sorcery casts into large amounts of Treasure and mana. Sanar provides steady early mana fixing via Treasure creation and offers an on-demand tutor in the command zone through its prepare spell Wild Idea. Once an engine is established, the deck chains cantrips, rituals, and draw spells powered by Archmage Emeritus or Ashling, Flame Dancer to cycle through the library. The game concludes decisively on Turn 5 through a massive Crackle with Power or infinite Treasure-pinging loops involving Freed from the Real and Reckless Fireweaver. While vulnerable to stax and well-timed creature removal, the deck boasts remarkable redundancy and velocity.
