False God by TenguHangover

Format: Commander

Commander: Karona, False God

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Karona, False God leads a five-color Avatar tribal deck that wins through sequential combat. You ramp and discount Avatars with Morophon, Herald's Horn and Urza's Incubator, then flood the board with large Avatars that draw cards via Temur Ascendancy and Vanquisher's Banner. Karona provides haste and attacks to pump all Avatars +3/+3, but she untaps and changes control each upkeep. Vows, Assault Suit and Homeward Path control where she goes. Morophon is the hidden commander, making Avatars cost WUBRG less. Secondary paths cheat Avatars with Tooth and Nail, Monster Manual and Kindred Summons or rebuild with Patriarch's Bidding, closing with Avatar of Slaughter double strike and Mirari's Wake.
