Deck overview

This deck leverages The Ur-Dragon as a command zone cost-reducer to power a 'Tribal Tribal' strategy. Every changeling creature counts as every creature type, allowing the deck to stack normally incompatible tribal payoffs from across Magic's history. Cheap changelings such as Universal Automaton, Changeling Outcast, and Feisty Spikeling enter for nearly zero mana due to eminence. They immediately trigger powerful lords such as Voja, Jaws of the Conclave for massive team growth, Reaper King for permanent destruction, Hakbal of the Surging Soul for card filtering, and Priest of Titania for mana acceleration. A robust 5-color mana base composed of fetch lands, shock lands, and multi-color dorks ensures consistent early-game sequencing. The primary route to victory is overwhelming combat damage delivered on Turns 5 and 6, protected by Knight Exemplar and Heroic Intervention, and punctuated by one-sided board resets like Crux of Fate.
