Deck overview

This deck uses Giada, Font of Hope as both an Angel accelerator and a counter engine. The normal plan is to cast Giada, Font of Hope early, deploy a steady stream of Angels, and use flying damage to end the game over several combat steps. Starnheim Aspirant and Herald of War reduce Angel costs, while Lyra Dawnbringer, Righteous Valkyrie, Angelic Field Marshal, and Sephara, Sky's Blade improve the board's power and resilience. Lifegain from Bishop of Wings, Dazzling Angel, and Righteous Valkyrie supports survival and turns on additional payoffs. The deck has respectable creature and permanent removal, but almost no stack interaction and limited tutoring. Its ordinary assembly is around turn 4, with a critical board around turn 7 and a combat finish around turn 9. It is strongest against creature-based tables and weaker against fast combo, repeated exile, and disruption that removes Giada, Font of Hope before several Angels are deployed.
