Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir wheel-and-burn strategy led by Emet-Selch of the Third Seat. The primary game plan focuses on establishing continuous damage punishers such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Psychosis Crawler, then resolving symmetrical mass-draw spells like Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Dark Deal. As opponents take damage from drawing cards, Emet-Selch triggers to discount and recast key instants and sorceries directly from the graveyard, effectively doubling the impact of every wheel spell in a single turn cycle. The deck supports this game plan with efficient 2-mana artifact acceleration, defensive stax elements like Propaganda, and disruption via Teferi's Puzzle Box. It trades long-term board presence for explosive, table-wide life point reduction, closing out games in compact bursts while using reactive countermagic and spot removal to defend its critical pieces.
