Deck overview

This mono-black deck pairs low-cost evasive saboteurs with potent equipment and big mana ramp. Commanded by Black Widow, Super Spy, the deck curves out rapidly on Turn 2, using evasion and menace to trigger combat theft effects and gain early card velocity. Midgame plays transition into lethal Voltron pressure through Swamp-scaling equipment like Lashwrithe and Nightmare Lash, alongside heavy-hitting saboteurs such as Unstoppable Slasher and Gwenom, Remorseless. Late game mana doublers including Crypt Ghast, Nirkana Revenant, and Cabal Coffers provide the resources needed to equip heavy gear and fuel a game-ending Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. While the deck excels at focused single-target aggression and resilient creature backup, its reliance on combat damage over multiple table rotations leaves it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and artifact removal.
