Queen Marchesa V2 by IlollyStyle

Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu monarch pillowfort deck uses Queen Marchesa to take the monarch and draw cards while taxing attacks. It deploys Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls to make attacking you costly, then rewards opponents for attacking each other with Breena, Combat Calligrapher and Trouble in Pairs. Courts of Grace and Ardenvale, Black Market Connections, Smothering Tithe and Ocelot Pride build a growing token army and treasure base. Queen Marchesa is the main draw engine and haste attacker; the hidden engines are Court of Grace and Black Market Connections. The Ashnod's Altar + Luminous Broodmoth loop exists but has no win outlet and only generates value.
