Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck pairs high-toughness creature token generation with lifegain triggers, led by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The deck uses low-cost ramp to deploy Trostani on Turn 3, followed by high-impact token generators such as Phyrexian Processor, Crested Sunmare, Gruff Triplets, and Nesting Dovehawk. Entering tokens trigger Trostani to buffer life totals, creating an enormous defensive buffer while Trostani populates the highest-quality tokens each turn cycle. Card advantage comes from burst draw spells scaling with board size, such as Shamanic Revelation and Rishkar's Expertise. The deck closes games around Turn 6 to 7 using game-ending overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Finale of Devastation, or an alternate life-fueled burn through Aetherflux Reservoir. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, its dense redundancy and independent threats ensure robust recovery.
