Scions & Spellcraft (FINAL FANTASY XIV) by thanriner

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed pilots a value-oriented control deck that leverages the commander's triggered abilities to turn every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater into a drain that also gains life. The deck draws extra cards at the end step when opponents lose 4+ life in a turn - a condition Y'shtola herself creates. A suite of Final Fantasy-themed legendary creatures provides additional payoffs for casting noncreature spells, generating tokens, card advantage, and recursion. The primary win path is incremental damage from Y'shtola's triggers and other pinging permanents (Papalymo Totolymo, Bastion of Remembrance, Circle of Power tokens), culminating in a large Exsanguinate or a token-combat overrun via Champions from Beyond or Summon: Good King Mog XII. Emet-Selch, of the Third Seat enables graveyard-casting value loops. The deck lacks infinite combos and explosive speed, relying on sustained value accumulation to outlast opponents.
