Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages the partner pairing of Tormod, the Desecrator and Ravos, Soultender to create a grindy graveyard engine. Tormod converts every card leaving the graveyard into a 2/2 black Zombie token, while Ravos provides a continuous stream of recursion by returning creatures to hand each upkeep alongside a global power and toughness boost. The list fills its graveyard quickly using self-mill enablers like Stitcher's Supplier and Undead Butler, then triggers Tormod repeatedly using self-recurring creatures like Reassembling Skeleton, Purple Pentapus, and Gollum, Patient Plotter. Payoffs like Wayward Servant, Soul Enervation, and Liliana's Mastery drain opponents and grow the Zombie army into a decisive combat force. While the deck possesses strong late-game endurance and steady card advantage, its lack of fast acceleration and vulnerable board presence make it reliant on fair multi-turn combat steps to close games.
