Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-green aggro deck led by Fynn, the Fangbearer. Its strategy centers on deploying an army of 1-drop and 2-drop deathtouch creatures, allowing every unblocked combat hit to apply two poison counters to an opponent. Because poison eliminates players at 10 counters rather than 40 life, the deck presents an explosive early clock, creating critical lethal pressure as early as Turn 3. Deathtouch also turns cheap fight and bite spells like Prey Upon and Rabid Bite into unconditional creature removal. To close out the game against full boards, the deck leverages trample enablers like Overrun and proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage, Contagion Clasp, and Powerful Broker to tick up poison counters across all opponents simultaneously. The deck's primary limitations are low card velocity and vulnerability to mass sweepers, making efficient sequencing and targeted protection essential.
