Deck overview

This Golgari Elfball deck uses Lathril, Blade of the Elves to execute a fast, resilient go-wide tribal strategy. The early game establishes rapid mana acceleration using one-drop mana dorks and scaling mana generators like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid. On Turn 3 or 4, Lathril enters the battlefield and connects in combat to generate a swarm of 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens. Continuous draw engines like Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, and Skullclamp replenish your hand while chaining low-cost Elf spells. By Turn 5, the board achieves critical mass, leveraging overwhelming mana to activate Ezuri, Renegade Leader multiple times for trample damage or tapping ten Elves with Lathril to drain opponents directly. The deck defends its board with efficient protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer, presenting a cohesive clock that closes games on Turn 6.
