Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spirit tribal control build centered on King of the Oathbreakers. Its strategy focuses on producing wide swarms of 1/1 flying Spirit tokens via cards like Lingering Souls, Spectral Procession, and Thalisse, Reverent Medium, while systematically halting opposing combat development with an enormous suite of 14 symmetrical board wipes. Notably, the deck includes almost no self-targeting spells to trigger King of the Oathbreakers's phasing and token duplication proactively; instead, the commander functions primarily as an evasive 3/3 flier with built-in protection against single-target spells. The deck wins in the late game by exhausting opponents' boards through repeated sweeps and flying over remaining defenses with buffed tokens via Drogskol Reinforcements, Phantom General, or life drain from Mirkwood Bats. It is primarily constrained by a severe lack of sustained card draw and instant-speed spot removal.
