Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Voltron and Equipment midrange list led by Tetsuo, Imperial Champion. The primary strategy focuses on ramping into Tetsuo on Turn 3, attaching Equipment on Turn 4, and utilizing Tetsuo's attack trigger to either burn targets or cast powerful spells for free. By Turn 6, heavy Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden or Kaldra Compleat transforms Tetsuo into a lethal threat that eliminates opponents across consecutive combat steps. The deck supports this aggressive combat clock with a robust package of counterspells, targeted removal, and board wipes to protect its board and disrupt opposing wins. When Tetsuo is answered, backup threats like Valduk, Keeper of the Flame and Kappa Cannoneer readily inherit the Equipment to maintain pressure.
