Copy of Azula by Cuthuluhoop

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck uses Fire Lord Azula as a combat-triggered copy engine to turn cheap cantrips and rituals into lethal storm turns. You develop cost reducers and magecraft payoffs, then attack with Azula to add {R}{R} and copy every instant or sorcery you cast that combat. Thousand-Year Storm and Veyran double those copies, while Storm-Kiln Artist turns each copy into Treasure for mana. Secondary paths win without Azula through Guttersnipe, Professor Onyx, and Vivi Ornitier incremental damage, or via Hullbreaker Horror bouncing. Azula is the primary engine but not the only one; Vivi and Thousand-Year Storm act as hidden commanders that sustain storm chains when Azula is removed.
