Deck overview

This list is a competitive Grixis Turbo deck built to execute fast, protected combo finishes. It primarily leverages Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to achieve an immediate same-turn victory as early as Turn 2 or 3. Alternatively, it can pivot into an Underworld Breach storm loop with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, an infinite creature combat loop with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, or resolve a high-velocity Ad Nauseam to draw into a winning line. The mana base and acceleration package feature maximum efficiency through 0-1 CMC artifacts and rituals, enabling rapid starts. A deep suite of free counterspells and anti-interaction permanents such as Defense Grid, Hexing Squelcher, and Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun ensures combo attempts can be shielded against opposing disruption. The commander Kefka, Court Mage serves as an auxiliary card advantage engine and discard outlet when games grind out.
