Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Akiri, Line-Slinger with Glacian, Powerstone Engineer to execute an Equipment-focused Voltron and artifact beatdown plan. Akiri serves as an ultra-efficient early threat, entering on Turn 2 and scaling power rapidly with every artifact land, mana rock, and equipment deployed. The deck leverages cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and equip facilitators such as Puresteel Paladin and Bruenor Battlehammer to turn Akiri into a lethal commander-damage threat by Turn 5. Late-game sustain and alternative angles of attack come from graveyard recursion like Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Osgir, the Reconstructor, and Wake the Past, alongside wide animation from The Antiquities War. The deck's primary limitations are its lack of dedicated equipment tutors, light instant-speed interaction, and vulnerability to targeted creature removal and artifact sweepers over its multi-turn combat clock.
