Format: Commander

Commander: The First Sliver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a five-color Sliver tribal build led by The First Sliver. Its primary plan is to ramp into The First Sliver, then use cascade to chain cheap Slivers into a wide board of lords, evasion, and synergy pieces. Sliver Overlord serves as the hidden commander, tutoring key Slivers, while Sliver Queen plus Basal Sliver and Lavabelly Sliver forms an infinite-damage backup. Secondary combat wins come from Sliver Legion, Bonescythe Sliver, and poison counters via Virulent Sliver. The commander is mainly an engine rather than a combo piece; without it, the deck still functions through Overlord and the Queen combo, but loses a major source of card advantage.
