New Untitled Deck by Thatch

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic mono-blue spellslinger/tempo deck built around Talrand, Sky Summoner, converting every instant and sorcery into a 2/2 flying Drake. The plan is to flood the board with cheap interaction and cantrips, chain them together through a dense suite of cost reducers (Baral, Chief of Compliance, Haughty Djinn, Sapphire Medallion, Mindsplice Apparatus, Archmage of Runes), and bury opponents in card advantage via Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Archmage Emeritus. The Drake army is further reinforced by redundant token engines in the 99 - Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Murmuring Mystic, Docent of Perfection, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, and Shark Typhoon. The deck wins primarily through combat: an overwhelming flying board, often pushed over the top by Alandra, Sky Dreamer's anthem or Docent of Perfection's transformed side, Final Iteration. Spell-copying synergies (Twinning Staff, Narset's Reversal, God-Eternal Kefnet) add an explosive dimension, while Stormtide Leviathan can serve as both a finisher and a soft lock.
