Deck overview

This mono-black deck operates as a classic Zombie typal and aristocrats strategy. It uses low-cost Zombies to build early board presence, then layers tribal lords and token generators on Turns 4 and 5. The commander, Tinybones, the Pickpocket, serves as an efficient one-drop utility creature that punishes early opposing discards and mill by stealing nonland permanents from opposing graveyards. However, the 99 functions completely independently of Tinybones. The primary win route focuses on assembling a critical mass of buffed Zombies alongside life-draining engines such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead. While the list features dense functional redundancy and resilient graveyard recursion, it lacks direct tutors, stack interaction, and artifact removal, relying on persistent creature pressure to close the game around Turn 8.
