Deck overview

This Bant aggro deck combines low-cost infect and toxic creatures with +1/+1 counter engines and proliferate mechanics. Led by Yuna, Grand Summoner, the deck accelerates early board development by tapping Yuna for mana while granting bonus +1/+1 counters to incoming creature spells and redistributing counters when modified permanents die. In the early game, the deck deploys evasive infect threats such as Blighted Agent, Glistener Elf, and Bloated Contaminator, quickly scaling their power using counter doublers and anthems like Sovereign Okinec Ahau, Arwen, Weaver of Hope, and Cathars' Crusade. Once poison counters are applied to opponents, the deck leverages repeatable proliferate sources like Thrummingbird, Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, Viral Drake, and Inexorable Tide to tick poison counters up to lethal thresholds of ten without requiring endless combat connections. Protected by shield counters, hexproof tricks, and asymmetric wipes like Damning Verdict, the deck maintains steady pressure across the table.
