Elfballz by QuixoticWiz23

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-tribal swarm deck that executes the classic "elfball" game plan: a dense turn-one/turn-two mana-dork suite, Lathril, Blade of the Elves on turn three, then a snowballing board of Elf tokens powered up by a lord-heavy core. Lathril converts every combat hit into two 1/1 Elf Warriors and offers a ten-elf tap ability that drains each opponent for 10. Wins come from convergent channels: an alpha strike via Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or Ezuri, Renegade Leader; big-mana payoffs like Genesis Wave, Shaman of the Pack, and Exsanguinate; incremental pressure from Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Nadier's Nightblade, and Poison-Tip Archer; or a compact infinite-mana package around Staff of Domination plus any five-plus-mana dork. Lathril is the best engine but not the only one - multiple token producers, lords, drain effects, and overruns mean the deck keeps functioning if she is answered.
