Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Modified strategy led by Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The primary game plan revolves around playing efficient Auras, Equipment, and counter-granting support in the early turns, deploying Arna on Turn 5, and attacking to trigger exponential permanent duplication. When Arna or any modified creature attacks, Arna doubles counters and creates token copies of all attached nontoken permanents. This causes scaling Auras such as Ethereal Armor and With Great Power . . . to grow creatures into lethal Voltron threats while triggering ETB draws from cantrip Auras. Secondary token engines like Archon of Sun's Grace and Sigil of the Empty Throne go wide to overwhelm blockers and provide resilience. While the deck lacks fast mana acceleration and unconditional tutors, it compensates with strong card draw engines, built-in ward protection, and robust reanimation backup.
