Deck overview

This mono-red list is an optimized ETB burn and chaos engine commanded by Norin the Wary. Because Norin exiles whenever any player casts a spell or attacks and returns at the next end step, it repeatedly enters the battlefield up to four times per full turn cycle. The deck leverages this trigger density by establishing early enters-the-battlefield pingers such as Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Agate Instigator, and Genesis Chamber. By Turn 5, the plan deploys damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, or Fiery Emancipation to convert each blink into lethal table-wide life drain, eliminating the pod by Turn 7. Alternatively, the infamous Confusion in the Ranks soft lock repeatedly steals opposing creatures, while the classic Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker plus Zealous Conscripts infinite combo provides a compact backup win condition that operates entirely independently of the commander.
