Deck overview

This is a high-power Orzhov reanimator-stax deck helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The core plan mills or tutors key creatures into the graveyard, reanimates them with cheap Auras and spells, then converts death triggers and sacrifice loops into table-wide drains. Squall, SeeD Mercenary provides a combat angle-solo attackers gain double strike-and a free recursion trigger for permanents of mana value 3 or less whenever he connects, but the deck's seven combo lines live entirely in the 99 and do not require him. Primary wins come from infinite death loops pairing Leonin Relic-Warder with Animate Dead/Necromancy/Dance of the Dead plus drain engines such as The Meathook Massacre or Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. A dense early stax suite (Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, Drannith Magistrate, Grand Abolisher) buys time while the reanimation engine comes online. The low curve (AMV 2.03) and heavy fast-mana package let the deck pivot between locking the table and assembling a combo kill.
