Deck overview

This is a mono-black Swamps-matter midrange deck helmed by Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. The plan is to flood the board with Swamps, multiply black mana through Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nirkana Revenant, then close via enormous X-spells (Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate) or devotion drains off Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Korlash himself is a scaling Voltron threat that grows with every Swamp and regenerates through removal, often suited with Blackblade Reforged, Lashwrithe, or Vorpal Sword and given evasion via Filth or Zombie Master. A secondary Zombie tribal package (Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, Undead Warchief, Army of the Damned) supplies go-wide pressure and recursion. The deck wins through raw mana advantage and attrition rather than combos, leveraging a dense suite of Swamp-scaling wipes to keep the board clear while it assembles lethal.
