Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Muckslinger Gang is a Jund power-matters deck that leverages its commander's static +3/+3 buff to non-attacking or blocking creatures to turn even modest bodies into lethal threats. The primary game plan is to deploy high-power creatures, use them for mana acceleration and card draw, then sacrifice them with direct-damage spells like Fling and Thud to burn opponents out. Secondary win conditions include combat damage with trample from Garruk's Uprising and Unnatural Growth, value engines such as Warstorm Surge and Terror of the Peaks that punish creature ETBs, and the infinite-mana loop involving Pitiless Plunderer, Ashnod's Altar, and Reassembling Skeleton to pump Ouroboroid or ping with Spikeshot Goblin for a table kill. The deck is a midrange value pile that excels at turning big creatures into direct damage, but it lacks consistent stack interaction and relies heavily on its graveyard and artifact synergies.
