Format: Commander

Commander: Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood and Alena, Kessig Trapper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gilanra and Alena are the paired ramp engine: Gilanra turns early green mana into card draw whenever it funds a six-plus-mana spell, and Alena turns a high-power creature that just entered into a burst of red mana. The deck ramps hard, casts large Gruul creatures, and uses attack triggers from Doors of Durin, Klauth, Savage Ventmaw, and Raph & Mikey to chain extra bodies into combat. The main win is an overwhelming creature swing, often supercharged by Devastating Onslaught, Warstorm Surge, and Stalking Vengeance; a secondary path uses Etali and Xenagos to cheat more threats. No hidden commander drives the list, and no infinite combo exists, so assembly and combat are the plan.
