shadowheart by CheckMatte

Format: Commander

Commander: Far Traveler and Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats deck pairs Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar with the Far Traveler background to create a sacrifice-and-blink engine. Shadowheart converts creature power into raw card draw via her activated ability, while Far Traveler blinks a tapped creature at each end step-untapping Shadowheart for reuse, re-triggering ETBs, and enabling repeated value. The primary wins are infinite drain loops (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood) and aristocrats piles amplified by Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, The Meathook Massacre, Teysa Karlov, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. Sac outlets (Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician) plus recursion and Ad Nauseam/Necropotence fuel explosive turns. Secondary paths include Minthara, Merciless Soul combat anthems and Demon tutoring via Shadowborn Apostle. The deck grinds efficiently then closes through life-total collapse.
