Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a high-synergy wheel burn archetype designed to punish opponents for drawing and discarding cards. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration into Nekusar or redundant punishers like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Once a damage engine is established, the deck resolves mass draw and discard spells such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal. Each wheel deals massive damage across the entire table while refilling your hand with further gas and protection. Strong free interaction spells like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick safeguard key pieces during crucial turns. While wheels inherently risk giving opponents fresh answers, high card velocity and dense functional redundancy allow the deck to rapidly close out games in one to two turn cycles.
