Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats combo build piloted by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging Gev's ability to place +1/+1 counters on entering creatures whenever an opponent has lost life. By combining Gev with any creature featuring the persist mechanic (such as Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap) and a free sacrifice outlet (such as Goblin Bombardment or Viscera Seer), the +1/+1 counter negates the persist -1/-1 counter via state-based actions. This allows the creature to be sacrificed infinitely. With win conditions like Goblin Bombardment, Impact Tremors, or blood artist effects like Zulaport Cutthroat and Bastion of Remembrance, the deck drains the entire table in a single turn. The deck is packed with functional redundancy for both persist creatures and sacrifice outlets, enabling consistent assembly by Turn 4 and a lethal combo attempt by Turn 5.
